Single-layer, square/rectangular field collimator designed for operation on dental radiology systems.
The x-ray field is defined by four lead-lined shutters near the exit window of the x-ray beam from the collimator and, a lead disk near the x-ray focus. The square field size at 166 cm Focus Field Distance (SID), with collimator mounted at 62 mm (2.44") from the x-ray focus, is 30 x 30 cm. The movements of the four shutters are motorised with independent control of each blade. X-ray field size and centre are provided by a linear laser.
The board is DC supplied with values ranging from 13 to 34 V DC - max. input about 700 mA and accommodates two types of interface: Can Bus and I²Cbus.
The 4 steppers motors are control driven. The board software provides 16 field sizes at different Focus-Film Distances (FFD-SID).

X-Ray beam limiting R910 device is particularly suitable for mammographic applications.
The collimator defines, with automatic control, three x-ray fields at a Focus Film Distance (FFD/SID) of 650 mm (25,6"):18x24 cm. (7,1"x9,5"), 24x30 cm. (9.5"x12") and spot.
- Light field provided by white power Led with automatic switching. Average illumination value is not less than 160 Lux .
- Automatic selection of filters
- Total inherent filtration of the collimator is: 0.3 mm Aluminum equivalent given by the Mylar mirror plus a Molibdenum or Aluminium filter equivalent to 0,50 mm.

R225ACS system is certified
CE, CSA, FDA.
The following devices have been studied, designed and tested to
complement this system and widen its performance ranges:
- RO 308 - External electronic interface board ASR003
- RO 310 - Iris device for round-field collimation.
- RO 314 -
CCD Board Camera for patient monitoring.
- RO 315 - Modification to the cover to allow for the installation
of an ionization chamber within the collimator.
